Introduzione

This guide will aid in realigning door hinges. Over time door hinges can become misaligned from the weight of the door which can cause them to become harder to open/close; or they won't close at all.

With this guide, you can realign your door hinge and not have to buy new ones and replace them every few years, resulting in fewer door hinges being improperly thrown away in the garbage and ending up in landfills. Learning to repair instead of replace is a good lesson we can all put into practice more so that we can reduce worldwide waste.

    • Drop the pin back into the hinge using the hammer.

    • If the pin gets stuck this means that the knuckles need to be bent back into place.

    • Using pliers bend whichever knuckles need adjusting.

    • Keep bending the knuckles until the pin drops back into place without getting stuck.
