Introduzione
This guide should help you with removing & replacing the Lenovo ThinkPad T530 hard drive (HDD) with a new one or a solid state Drive (SSD). This is a remarkably simple repair as the HDD is designed to be accessible.

Place it on a flat, sturdy surface and unplug the power cord.

Remove the battery by moving the battery latch and sliding the battery out.

Locate the drive enclosure.

Use a small Philips screwdriver to unscrew the single screw that holds down the drive enclosure cover. Loosen the screw, but do not remove it.

Carefully remove the drive enclosure cover.

Slightly lift & pull on the black pull tab until the hard drive and the two rubber rails come out of the enclosure.

Remove the two rubber rails (blue arrows) & four screws (red arrows). Those should be reused if you are replacing the HDD with a new HDD or SDD.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Kann ich da auch eine mSATA SSD nachrüsten? Wenn ja, welche wären das?
The Service Manual (from Lenovo) says its possible to put in an mSata drive in the WWAN slot although they claim it should only be used as cache- as it isn't nearly as reliable. Below is a link to their documentation, flip to page 82.
