ProtoCentre 999 Extruder fan Replacement

We want to check the fan is running or not.

If you place your hand near your fan, you can understand the fan is running or not.

In some case , the fan speed may get reduced. In this case also we want to put new fan. Else the may effect the working of the nozzle.For checking this, GO TO PREPARE

PREHEAT the machine

After getting preheated, place your hand near fan, if the fan is pulling out less hot air, you has to change the fan.

Remove the fan from the nozzle block with the help of allen key.

Remove the back cover of the machine.

In the 12V supply PCB there will be a connection for extruder fan, remove it. And take the fan out.

Change the fan with new fan.

Reconnect the fan connection in the 12V supply PCB.

Connect the fan in the nozzle block with the help of allen key.

After connecting the fan back, check the fan speed with the help of your hand placing near the fan.
