Non pagare Apple per sostituirti la batteria! Fallo da solo!

    • Spegni e scollega il tuo MacBook Air prima di procedere.

    • Rimuovi le dieci viti a croce Phillips che fissano la cover inferiore del MacBook Air:

    • Sei viti da 2,8 mm

    • Due viti da 3,8 mm

    • Due viti da 5,4 mm

    • Solleva leggermente la scocca inferiore dalla parte degli sfoghi e spingila verso la parte posteriore del computer per liberarla dalle linguette di bloccaggio.

    • Scollega il connettore della batteria tirandolo fuori dal suo zoccolo.

    • Rimuovi le seguenti nove viti a croce Phillips che fissano la batteria all'Air:

    • Quattro lunghe 2,9 mm

    • Quattro lunghe 3,8 mm

    • Una lunga 7,2 mm

    • Tira fuori la batteria dall'Air.

    • Se stai installando una batteria nuova, dovresti calibrarla dopo l'installazione:

    • Carica al 100% e poi tieni sotto carica almeno altre due ore. Quindi stacca l'alimentazione e usa il laptop normalmente per farlo scaricare. All'avviso di batteria in esaurimento, salva il lavoro corrente e tieni acceso il MacBook finché non si iberna perché è scarico. Aspetta almeno altre 5 ore, poi carica il laptop ininterrottamente fino al 100%.

    • Se noti un comportamento strano o dei problemi dopo l'installazione della nuova batteria, potresti aver bisogno di resettare l'SMC del tuo MacBook.

Conclusione

Per riassemblare il tuo dispositivo, segui queste istruzioni in ordine inverso.

This doesn't make sense. The battery cost $110, plus shipping, which will come out to about $130, with next day shipping. Apple does it for $129, and will do it same day with an appointment. I know some people will do it for fun, but if you're trying to save money, I have to roll with Apple on this one.

I ordered a replacement battery for $75 (shipping included) and 3 days later the switch is done (thanks for this easy guide!). Now, my wife's MBA is free from power cord again! It is a no brainer!

Other guides mention from late 2010 onwards Apple use 5-star anti-tamper screws on the bottom lid. So such a bit is useful on those later models.

Any idea where to buy the two screws of the battery? One of mine is spread and unusable.

The battery change is very simple. But now the battery isn't loading. The macbookair sees the battery but say not loading. loader was good and gives a green light.

I think one should not forget before attempting to open the back of the computer is to shut down the computer.
