After the plastic cover has been taken off you should see the PCB, which has 3x PH000 screws. Remove these as well.
-
To lift the PCB out lift from the top side (opposite side of usb port) and push lightly on the volume wheel.
-
To reassemble your device, follow some these instructions in reverse order. Don't desolder your new USB port.

DO NOT DO THAT LIKE THIS!!!
You destroyed PCB and broke layers.
You needed to use a small electronic part socket USB-type-c female instead USB-plate.
Well it may not be the best way to do it, but it works. The headset has worked flawlessly for months now. I am not particularly experienced in soldering, but I wanted to share how I did it.

Even though it's not the perfect repair, it's good enough for me if it works. Looks easy enough to try and repair them myself. Thanks for sharing dude and I appreciate you giving them a longer life rather than throwing the whole headset into the trash.
My micro usb port came off and I'm planning to repair it. Stumbled upon this guide and wanna make sure if what you did here would also work for mine. Here's what it looks like imgur link. Also do you have any recommendations, tips, or something. Thank you!
I think it could work. It probably smart to have solder flux ( i didnt have it at the time ). FYI the headset is still working after all this time.
