After attempting a firmware update, the tv restarts attempting the update over and over. I spent over an hour chatting, and on the phone before finally getting a solution to this problem. Power cycling the tv and the remote didn’t work. What did? Factory resetting the tv, using the volume down and the input buttons on the tv. With the tv on, hold the volume down button, and the input button down until you get the factory reset message on the tv. Let go of the volume down button and hold the input button down for about 10 seconds. This will reset the tv as if you just brought it home from the store and take you thru the setup process.
