Hello there! My name is Alexandra Messina and I'm a junior at Marist College with a major in English, Writing and a minor in Business.
About Me
Before coming to Marist, I grew up in a small town on the coast of Long Island, NY, with two younger sisters. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my family boating as well as at the beach, which I still love to go to with my friends when I'm home during the summer. In high school, I loved my English classes as well as French and History.
Hobbies
As is obvious from my major, my favorite hobby is reading. I was always passionate about reading, even as a child, and that love only got stronger over the years. I've always read a variety of genres but some of my all-time favorite authors are Taylor Jenkins Reid, Sarah J. Maas, and Erin Morgenstern. My love for reading is ultimately what led me to begin writing as well, which is another hobby of mine. I love to creatively write in my free time, but I also want to go into a field where I can write for work as well, which might just include technical writing.
