Hello. I am Faith Reese. I am a graduate student at the University of North Alabama. My major is Writing with a concentration in Technical Writing. I chose this major because I found that I enjoy taking apart and putting things back together. Another reason is the frustration I feel with instruction manuals. Some are hard to interpret from the pictures and given text. I hope to write guides that are easy to comprehend. My goal is to work for a company as a technical writer or editor.
I earned my Associate degree in Business Management and Supervision in 2020 from Southern Union State Community College. Then I earned my Bachelor in English with a minor in Global Business in 2023 from Troy University. I have a membership with the Society of Technical Communication. During my studies for my associate and bachelor's degrees, I joined the honor society Phi Theta Kappa and the business club Phi Beta Lambda where I was vice president for both clubs.
My project How to Replace the Vacuum in a Fanttik V8 Mate Vacuum is the first guide I have ever written. I enjoyed making it so I know there will be more guides from me.
Outside of school, I work at a grocery store as a bagger. This year, I was awarded a certificate for being the fastest bagger in my district. In my free time, I enjoy collecting Pokemon cards and watching Spongebob.
