ABOUT ME
My name is Snail Dempsey, I'm a first year student at University of North Texas. Currently I'm majoring in mechanical engineering. I've always had a fascination with how machinal based items work and I'm excited to continue exploring that area of study.
ASPIRATIONS
I eventually want to go into aerospace technology and work on satellites and telescopes.
SKILLS
My biggest skill is my teamwork and willingness to work with anyone no matter how different from me they are. I base people and who they are off their actions not their physical or mental traits.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Some of my biggest accomplishments come from being a part of technical theater in middle and high school. I was able to help and be a part of those programs to create something incredible. I was able to make and create the sets along with being able to work the shows. My senior year show I worked as the prop manager on was nominated for multiple Heller awards along with one being best performance. Sadly we didn't win anything but the fact I was able to go to the award ceremony and even have my school be nominated was an amazing feeling.
REPAIR EXPERIENCE
Because of my time working in the technical aspect of theater I’ve repaired some of the strangest things. From having to repair a poorly made prop jetpack while backstage during a performance to helping rehang and program stage lights.
