Hello! My name is Lucas Labrador and I am a Criminal Justice major at Sam Houston State University, also working as a TA for the Stars and Galaxies course here.

My fascination with things in the Criminal Justice System started when I was very young, always being fascinated by detectives and how they are able to piece together the evidence to solve crimes. As I got older, I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in CPS.

My repair experience is mostly centered around cars. My whole life I have helped my dad repair miscellaneous things on his cars. In recent years, we have had to replace engines in cars like this Veloster Turbo, and a Honda Civic, as well as other random miscellaneous repairs on cars. This allowed me to learn how to work on cars and troubleshoot problems while coming up with solutions for those problems.

In my free time, I like to autocross my 2007 Mazda 3. She's slow in a straight line but handles very well in turns. This is my first car and have done all the repairs and modifications myself.

I plan to follow in my mom's footsteps, as she is a teacher, by pursuing a career in CPS so that I can help kids in need, but in a different way. I'm excited to create iFixit guides for my car, as I have valuable experience that I can contribute to the iFixit and repair community.
