Hi, my name is Craig B. and I go to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. My major used to be physics, but I recently changed it to electrical engineering because I felt like it matched my interests better. I really like the idea of building things that serve an actual purpose. I want to be able to step back and say yes, I made that, that thing exists because of me.
When I graduate I hope to work for a gov. job so that I have good job safety, but more specifically, I would really like to help design something new. It doesn't matter too much to me what it is, as long as it's not something that will harm anyone, and that no one has ever made one before.
I grew up helping my dad take care of a six family apartment building so I've acquired a lot of random skills here and there helping him fix different things and eventually, as I grew older, fix things all by myself.
Skills:
- Basic circuit building
- Basic circuit theory
- Basic Engineering Principles
- Microsoft Office
- Teamwork & Communication
- Mathematics up to calculus II
- Understanding of C programing
- Understanding of Python
- Analyzing Data
I sadly don't have any pictures of projects at my fathers six family but I have plenty of pictures of other projects I've worked on throughout the past few years. For instance:
The first image to the left here shows a lab I completed in October 2023 for my circuit theory class. It is a synchronous sequential circuit using two D flipflops, a 7486 XOR IC chip, and a 7400 NAND IC chip.
The second image to the left here is from the same circuit theory class, but a different lab, shows a circuit representing 4 share holders with different amounts of shares voting. Which the total shares is then represented by the number shown on the 7430 IC chip. It uses multiple multiplexer IC chips, a BCD to 7 segment converter IC chip, and an inverter IC chip.
In high school I loved being social, I participated in a bunch of school activities and clubs such as my schools Best Buddies club which helps give specially educated individuals friends to hangout with. I was also in chorus at my school, along with track and field. I now have a lot less free time to work with but I still regularly go to my colleges volleyball intramurals, and try my best to participate in school events.
My favorite show is Adventure Time.
