Algiers (الجزائر, Alger) is a wilaya in Algeria at latitude 36°42′02.16″ North, longitude 3°05′27.24″ East.
The wilaya (or province) of Algiers is the capital of Algeria and the smallest of the 48 wilayas in the country.
It is subdivided into 13 daïras (or districts), which group 57 baladiyahs (or communes, municipalities) including Alger-Centre.
