Central Bedfordshire is an unitary authority in East of England at latitude 52°00′12.76″ North, longitude 0°29′42.78″ West.
Central Bedfordshire (161643 161643) unitary authority was formed 1 April 2009 replacing the previous two-tier system of county and district councils. It replaced the county council of Bedfordshire and the two district councils of Mid Bedfordshire and South Bedfordshire
Together with the unitary authorities of Bedford and Luton it forms the ceremonial county of Bedfordshire.
