Compass Rose

This pages is a list of pictures of compass roses to use on a map; for documentation of the tag, see: man_made=compass_rose

This page features a number of images of Compass Roses that can be included in your own map. None of the roses will automatically appear in the default renderings made by Osmarender or Mapnik. Any new images of Compass Roses should be placed here with the appropriate Licence.

New Images should try to conform to the following:

• They should have this Licence or be placed in the Public Domain.
• They should include a PNG and a SVG file.
• PNG files should be approximately 400 X 400 pixels with a DPI of 600
• SVG files should be saved as Inkscape files to preserve the licence rather than plain SVG.
• The SVG files should use the icon_64x64 format in Inkscape.
