With the authorisation of the Information Management Governance Forum held on 19th December 2016, I’m happy to confirm:
The City of Melbourne has no objections to geodata derived in part from any spatial data owned by the City of Melbourne and released on data.melbourne.vic.gov.au being incorporated into the OpenStreetMap project geodata database and released under a free and open licence. A mention on the Contributors page (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Contributors#) is sufficient for our attribution requirements. Please include the text of our disclaimer, found at https://data.melbourne.vic.gov.au/disclaimer.
