A "new" Salo will be created in 01.01.2009 by combining 10 municipalities (Halikko, Kiikala, Kisko, Kuusjoki, Muurla, Perniö, Pertteli, Salo, Suomusjärvi and Särkisalo) and duplicate street names will be removed and new names will be created. See and .
