Hack the Map

Description of the event

Hack the Map will be online event to make the OpenStreetMaps and to edit them using different technologies. If you are interested in making the map area of your own city, village, street and wants to make it better then do join us June 18, 2011. You can join this on-line party sitting in hotel, in your house in Ludhiana, or Australia, Canada, UK, USA, Netherlands, or anywhere in the world. But you want to have fun, want to enjoy company, come to the venue. Your online presence will be warmly appreciated. It will be a great fun and learning. --Parveen Arora 02:43, 14 June 2011 (BST)

Timings

The Event will start at at 09:00am on 18th of june and will run upto the 07:00pm.

Venue

The online user can edit the map from their home, office or any other place with a internet labelled connection. The other user who want to be the part of this event offline or which are locally from "Ludhiana" can come at "Computational lab, Civil Department, GNDEC Ludhiana". The map will be hacked by different technologies. Anyone from anywhere can take part in this event. He/She can design map of their village, town, city or whole state.
