Status: deprecated |

This feature has been labeled as deprecated. The recommended replacement is: social_facility:for=* and community_centre:for=*.
The reason is documented in Deprecated features. You are still free to continue to use or interpret this tag as you see fit since OpenStreetMap does not have “banned features”.
Under no circumstances should you (semi-)automatically change “deprecated” tags to something else in the database on a large scale without conforming to the automated edits code of conduct. Any such change will be reverted.

provided_for:*=yes/no
Any kind of service, which is provided only provided for a restricted person group (e.g. this depends on the developmental stage, gender or sexual orientation or financial or political status) and this group is not already defined by the kind of the object. The specified age ranges, are more for readers orientation, don't worry, if they do not exact match.
This tag was proposed in 2011 as a more common and better named replacement for keys such as social_facility:for=* and community_centre:for=*, but is hardly used until today.
