Loadstone GPS is a free non-graphics satellite navigation software originally developed for the discontinued-since-2014 Symbian Mobile/phones using the Series60 platform, and now for iOS. Although Loadstone-GPS is a useful navigational tool for everyone, it is particularly useful for blind and visually impaired people using screen readers (e.g. Nuance Talks).
There is an online converstion tool and an offline conversion tool to transfer .osm files up to 8 MB to the loadstone import format (.txt).
Loadstone works with nodes only and imports POIs and crossing nodes from OSM.
With Loadstone-GPS blind persons are enabled to contribute to OSM by collecting tracks. See OSM for the blind.
