Mapbox styles
Mapbox styles are styles following the Mapbox Style Specification. They can be used with Mapbox GL, MapLibre GL or OpenLayers.
Styles
This section lists repositories where Mapbox styles can be found. Note that styles are also available from the Mapbox Styles API and the MapTiler Styles API.
- Mapbox maintains a couple of styles
- the OpenMapTiles project also maintains several styles
- Qwant Maps has its own style
Editors
Mapbox styles may be edited with the proprietary Mapbox Studio or the open source Maputnik.
Ports of Mapnik styles
The Mapnik renderer uses a different stylesheet format called Mapnik XML. Most Mapnik styles are currently written in CartoCSS. This section attempts to list efforts of porting existing CartoCSS styles to Mapbox styles:
