Monarch's Way Distibuted Mapping Party October 8

Monarch's Way "Distributed" Mapping Party October 8th 2011

The aim is to fill in as many of the blanks as we can of this long distance path which meanders through the region. The path starts at Worcester where Steve Brook has done a sterling job mapping the way. At its northernmost reach lie the two of the most iconic sites of the Way: Boscobel House and the Royal Oak, from which the Way derives its marker symbol and from which so many British pubs are named, so it would be good to include a stretch of the Monarch's Way there.

All you do is sign up for a section in the table below, go out for a walk, collect your data, edit the map and sign off that it's been edited

Depending on where people sign up for we might arrange for an end of day pint and chat, but being a distibuted event that might prove to be difficult!

The relation to edit is 20611.

You can also view Lonvia's Hiking Map to see which bits of the Monarch's way have been edited Here's what the West Midlands looks like: Monarch's Way stretches are the dirty yellow routes
