North and South Circular Roads

The North and South Circular Roads ( 3929254) is a route_master relation that consists of two toll-free circular primary routes, the North Circular Road ( 898332) and the South Circular Road ( 898331). The Woolwich Free Ferry ( 392885) currently represents the missing eastern connection over the River Thames.

Conditions along the route are very diverse, ranging from simple two-way residential streets to grade-separate dual carriageways motorway-like restrictions: the abandoned Ringway 2 plan upgraded nearly all of the northern side, while it would have superseded the southern side's existing route.
