Nottinghamshire is a county in East Midlands, England at latitude 53°09′00.00″ North, longitude 1°06′00.00″ West.
Nottinghamshire 77268 77268 is a ceremonial county in the East Midlands region of England. It is made up of the non-metropolitan county of Nottinghamshire and the unitary authority of Nottingham. It borders the ceremonial counties of South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire.

The boundary of Nottinghamshire is largely derived from the New Popular Edition maps, and not all subsequent changes have been incorporated. The boundary with the City of Nottingham is incomplete.

| NCN Route 15 | Runs from Belton, Leics to Grantham. Signed on the ground (and mapped in OSM) between Belton and East Midlands Airport; from Wilford Toll Bridge to Radcliffe-on-Trent; from the Fosseway through Bingham and then along the A52 corridor to Bottersford; Muston to Grantham. The rest of the route is currently unsigned, but the Sustrans' website implies that the link from Wilford to the M1 will be down the A453, presumably along the old road if that is eventually duelled. Has been rerouted during 2010 between Regatta Way and Radcliffe-on-Trent - the old signs remain in-situ alongside the A6011 and A52, but new signs have been installed through Lady Bay and Holme Pierrpont. | 913519 913519 |

Footpaths
Long-distance Paths
Two long-distance footpaths are shown on OS maps for the county: The Trent Valley Way and the Robin Hood Way. Neither appears to be particularly well signposted on the ground, nor do they feature in County Council publicity.

| The Archaeological Way (old) | Confusingly, there are two of these that start from nearly the same place. This is the old one. It runs from Pleasley Vale to Whitwell. Signposting is a bit hit and miss, but a GPX has been uploaded to OSM containing both signposts and places where there should be signposts. It's tagged "Archaeological Way". It's not complete but does provide enough information to follow the entire route from Pleasley Vale car park to Whitwell church. | 176673 176673 |
| The Archaeological Way (new) | Confusingly, there are two of these that start from nearly the same place. This is the new one. According to it runs from Pleasley Pit Country Park to Creswell Crags. Note that what signage there is contradicts DCC's website. Neither the partially signposted route nor the map on DCC's website yet indicate a coherent route.
