OpenWeatherMap (openweathermap.org) is a service providing weather data and forecast inspired by the idea of Wikipedia and OpenStreetMap. Visualizations are shown with an OpenStreetMap base map.

All data provided by OpenWeatherMap are distributed under CC-BY-SA 2.0. The API is free up to 30 000 hits per minute.

leaflet-openweathermap is a new JavaScript library providing easy access to OpenWeatherMap's features for Leaflet based maps.
