Description
To make OpenStreetMap more navigable and accurate in guidance, our mapping team started an editing project in Europe.
Starting with the late April we will focus on editing one ways, turn restrictions, road geometry and also validating the existing map by correcting keep right in Wolfsburg, Germany.

Wolfsburg is a city in Niedersachsen at latitude 52°25′21.36″ North, longitude 10°47′13.56″ East.
In this project we will map one way and turn restrictions in this city and we will focus on adding missing information as well as improving the existing data in OSM.
We will follow the mapping scheme that is already used in Germany, as it is described on this pages:

1. Overall statistics

2. Improve OSM
Turn restrictions
Steps we follow in the process of editing:
• Look for images with TR in OSC or Mapillary
• Select involved ways or nodes, to add a TR. If ways are too long, split them.
• Create a new relation. Add type:restriction and restriction:no_left_turn.
• Assign for each feature selected a role: from, via and to and click ok.
Oneways
Steps we follow in the process of editing:
• Pay attention to the direction of the way! Before adding the oneway=yes tag, make sure that the direction of digitization matches the direction of the oneway. If not, press "R" to reverse the direction and only after add the oneway=yes tag.
• For roundabouts, the oneway=yes is implied, so it is not necessary to add it explicitly.

Will add oneway and turn restriction tags after checking the following sources:
• Aerial Imagery: Esri World Imagery, ACT
• Street level imagery: OSC, Mapillary
• Improve OSM - Traffic Flow Direction
• Local Data - where there is approval to use it
3. Road geometry
To improve the existing data, we will focus on adding missing roads from valid sources.

4. Quality Assurance
We will improve the existing data using Integrity Check and Keep Right tools.
