Background and Identification

The Acer Iconia Tab A501 was released in April of 2011. It runs Android 3.0 Honeycomb. The tablet has a USB-A port and a micro-USB port on its right side, as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a micro HDMI port on the left side of the device. Furthermore, the device includes a docking port on the bottom for enhanced usability. The display of the tablet is 10.1 inches, with a 64.3% screen to body ratio and a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels.

The Acer Iconia Tab A501 is the only 500 series Iconia A Tab with a 3G connectivity. It was available in three variants, with 16/32/64 GB of storage and 1 GB of ram. It includes an Nvidia Tegra 2 T20 processor, a Dual-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU. The tablet also houses a ULP GeForce graphics processing unitessing unit.
