Background and Identification

The Amazon Kindle Voyage was released on October 21, 2014. It is the next generation of E-reader following the Kindle Paperwhite, with a lighted screen that adjusts to your surroundings, and easy to use buttons on the side that allow you to turn the pages. It is the thinnest Kindle ever, and lighter than the Kindle Paperwhite.

The Kindle Voyage looks similar to the Kindle Paperwhite, but it can easily be distinguished by the new page-turning buttons found to the left and right of the screen. Like the rest of the E-readers in the Kindle family, the Voyage uses electronic ink to display images. Though it cannot produce color images like the Kindle Fire tablets, the Voyage has a relatively high-resolution screen and produces crisp, easy-to-read images that make the Voyage perfect for reading magazines and comics in addition to books.
