Background and Identification
This device is a Sony VAIO PCG-3C2L, also known as the Sony VAIO VGN-CS115J. Sony released this model in 2008. Due to company separation, Sony discontinued all VAIO product lines in 2014.
The PCG-3C2L features an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5800 processor with 4 GB of pre-installed system memory. The physical size of this particular model is comparable to most laptop devices. Its screen is 14.1 inches in cross-diameter and the width is 13.2 inches. The PCG-3C2L also features three USB ports, along with one headphone jack and one microphone input. This model can be distinguished by its high-gloss colors like “Sangria Red” and “Baby Pink”. The model number is located on the back of the laptop and the alternate model number can be located near the bottom left corner of the screen.
While Sony no longer makes this particular product, there are a few units left through technology auction sites. Currently, a used Sony VAIO PCG-3C2L can be purchased for approximately $150-$220 through third-party sellers.
