Animal-type melanoma is a cutaneous condition and is characterized by nodules and fascicles of epithelioid melanocytes with pleomorphic nuclei and striking hyperpigmentation, dendritic cells, numerous melanophages and, sometimes, an inflammatory infiltrate of lymphocytes.[1]
