Cycling in the United Kingdom/Regional Routes
An international cycling map created from OSM data is available, provided by Andy Allan. The map rendering is still being improved, the data are updated every few days. It shows National Cycle Network cycle routes, other regional and local routes, and other cycling-specific features, such as:

| Waymarked Trails: Cycling by Sarah Hoffman is a layer superimposed over mapnik (Standard Map Layer) which shows marked cycle routes around the world. Updated minutely, it renders actual routes without the state=proposed tag. Therefore no proposed routes (or proposed numbering protocols) are displayed. |
Regional routes generally have a white-on-blue number. Use a rcn_ref tag, or a relation with network=rcn (not ncn).
Sustrans is currently embarking on a project to re-number and re-classify Regional routes as National routes - numbers below and those for new routes may be subject to change over the coming months. See the Sustrans website for more information.

B&HCC did a lot of upgrades to their cycle lanes along the Lewes Road. Strangely, in 2012, an excellent new off-road cycle track was added adjacent to the A27 at Beddingham, but Sustrans seem to have eschewed this and insist RR90 still goes along country roads (narrow, steep, poor surface, poor visibility round bends) via Glynde. |
