Disney Spings is a shopping district in Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Florida at latitude 28°22′17.39″ North, longitude 81°31′08.42″ West.

Disney Springs is a shopping district in Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Disney Springs has been through many name changes as Team Disney Orlando (TDO) has not decided what to make of the shopping district. Disney Springs first opened March 22, 1975 as the Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village, then Walt Disney World Village in 1977, following to Disney Village Marketplace in 1989; and to the current predecessor, Downtown Disney in 1997.

The shopping district is divided up into four parts the Marketplace, the Landing, the Westside, and the Town Center.

Transportation

Disney Springs is accessible from all Disney Hotels via bus. Buses run until 2am. Disney Springs is also available via walking from hotels that line Buena Vista Drive and Hotel Plaza Boulevard: Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa,Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa, B Resort & Spa, Doubletree Suites Orlando- Lake Buena Vista, Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort, Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista, and Hilton Disney Springs. Although Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park is located across the street from Disney Springs there is no cross walk between the park and shopping district.


Boat

Water taxis are free transportation across Disney Springs from the Market Place to West Side. Additional water based-transportation are available. Ferry Lines listed below from Disney Springs Dock.
