GPS track logs
Most areas in Ghana have less detailed or cloudy imagery. GPS track logs that can be recorded with a GPS Device or smartphone. Try OSMtracker (Android).
Please Note:
- Do not use
CAPITALS. - Write "Road", "Street", "Link", "Avenue" and "Bypass "instead of "RD", "ST", "LK", "AVE" and "BP"
- The key:highway type helps indicate the importance of the highway within the road network as a whole, and not its current state of repair or its surface. For the latter, you can use key:surface or key:smoothness. See also Highway Tag Africa. Order of roads (importance):
- Please use addr:pobox:number=* and addr:pobox:city=* to tag P O boxes. It is also common to put everything into addr:pobox=*.
- Use amenity=mobile_money_agent for mobile money agents (not shop=mobile_phone like proposed by iD editor)
