Hiking routes in Málaga

Malaga City Council operates some municipal and small trails for hiking.
The Regional Government of Andalusia also operates within the municipal boundaries some other trials integrated in Montes de Málaga Natural Park and in Desembocadura del Guadalhorce Natural Area.

The Municipal Sports Foundation of Málaga City Council has also marked local trails around Gibralfaro[1]. The routes are marked on the ground and improvements are planned for the future. Due to their characteristics (short distances, no special footwear or fitness requirements), these routes are better suited to route=foot than route=hiking.
