Circular (non-directional) marine or aero-marine radiobeacon omnidirectional A radio station which need not necessarily be manned, the emissions of which, radiated around the horizon, enable its bearing to be determined by means of the radio direction finder of a ship.
Directional radiobeacon directional A special type of radiobeacon station, the emissions of which are intended to provide a definite track for guidance.
