The tag surveillance:zone=* denotes what zone is the surveillance about.

Values

• surveillance:zone=town: for a town surveillance
• surveillance:zone=parking: in a parking
• surveillance:zone=traffic: for example on a motorway. This is not about highway=speed_camera
• surveillance:zone=shop: in a shop
• surveillance:zone=bank: in a bank
• surveillance:zone=building: in a building/office
• surveillance:zone=entrance: a camera with a focus placed directly on the entrance to a building, not on any other building part

Discouraged values

These values should be avoided.

• surveillance:zone=area: Not specific enough, as all surveillance is for an "area". Prefer a more specific value.
