1. Public Transport
This tag can be used to mark the destination station in a Relation:route and or in combination with route=* of a public transport.
E.g. the route of a bus service, tram service, metro service, ferry service or train service.
Use one relation for each direction, so you need 2 relations for one line.
Use from=* for the terminal station in the same relation.
2. Recreational routes
Use to=<name> to tag the name of the end location of the route.
Combine with from=*
for the start location in the same relation.
For bidirectional route relations (common in bicycle route relations) consider the operator's choice of main direction.
If the route relation is a section of a longer route, make sure the sections use the same main direction when tagging the from and to locations.
