Las Piñas
Las Piñas (Wikipedia) is a city in the Philippines located in southern Metro Manila. To the northwest lies the Manila Bay while to the northeast is the City of Parañaque. To the southeast is Muntinlupa and to the southwest is the municipality of Bacoor in the province of Cavite. Las Piñas is classified as a 1st-class urban city and has a population of 532,330 based on the August 1, 2007 census. It is divided into 20 barangays.[1]
The city center (poblacion), where the world-famous Bamboo Organ is located, is found near the coast with Manila Bay at 120.98°E, 14.48°N, while the center of the city area is approximately at 120.99°E, 14.44°N.
