Showcase
Section marker highway=milestone has been used in Brittany Museum in Rennes (France) but seems too linked with highways.

A milestone is a marker to show a distance from and to geographical points. The given information (mileage) is a distance. Something like this should be better :

Artifact Miscellaneous non-artistic objects in museums
Tombstone Tombstones can be exposed in museums or other historic places.

Please do not confuse with an historic=tomb wich is a burial site mainly located in a landuse=cemetery or a amenity=grave_yard.

Mural Murals such as frescoes may have been detached from their original supports and may be found in museums.
Mosaic Mosaics may have been detached from their original supports and may be found in museums.
