Pymagellan
pymag is a bunch of Python scripts that can be invoked by command line. Started by Henrik Johansson it supports only ~80% of the official Map file format features. Had been introduced in 2008 but seemed to be discontinued since 2010. It can read OSM data
- Generates Magellan detailed maps from OSM files
- The map generation is highly configurable using a Osmarender like XML style file
- Topographical maps can be created from any GDAL supported raster DEM file
- Can generate POIs sorted in categories and sub-categories
- Support for both big/small-endian byte order
- Can download openstreetmap data from the internet
Currently NOT SUPPORTED is:
- full custom coloring
- Routing
