A fixme=name tag defines that the mapper is missing the name for the object.
How to Map
Some few objects have a name=* but still has a fixme=name, remove the fixme instead.
For missing names like highways, buildings (like restaurants, and toilets), services, and bridges, use the tag fixme=name for all the ways.
- Make sure that the way has a name. If not, then use fixme=name instead.
- Most restaurants have a name. But if the name is not known and cannot be seen on streetside, kindly use fixme=name. If the restaurant has no name, use noname=yes instead. If the restaurant has a name and some mappers rarely knew the name, use fixme=verify name instead.
contradiction
This proposition contradicts the examples of usage on the fixme=* page. Where the statement "You should not use it for errors that can be be automatically detected by error detection tools." and missing names car be detected my tools.
