A bump hazard is a bump in the road which may be hazardous to motorists.
This tag covers both artificial bumps and natural bumps in the road that form over time as the roadway deteriorates. For speed bumps or speed tables see traffic_calming=*. Traffic calming devices themselves should not normally be tagged with hazard=bump.
