The tag military=depot is used to map the location of a military storage depot. Storage depots often store fuel, equipment or other supplies required by the military. However, unlike a military=base, military operations are unlikely to take place there and many of the staff stationed at the depot may be civilian. The depot may be operated by a civilian contractor or non-military government agency on behalf of the military.
Examples include the Oil Fuel depots, operated by the Oil and Pipelines Agency, for the storage of fuel on behalf of the British Royal Navy.

If this area is a military base in its own right, then it should also be tagged with military=base. If it is included inside a military base, then only the base area should be tagged as such.
