The tag route=evacuation is used to tag an evacuation route, a pre-planned route for moving mass amounts of people away from a disaster situation. These routes are generally along high-capacity roadways and lead away from the hazard.

How to map

Evacuation routes are mapped in a relation of type type=route.
In relation to the following characteristics should be included:

forward/backwardIf a route should be followed in only one direction for some or all of its length, the "role" can indicate this for some or all of the constituent ways.
