Key:theme

The key theme=* is used to describe the general theme of a location. For instance a themed cafe, restaurant, theme park, or similar facility. Many types of facilities are themed to appeal to specific types of users or customers. A significant example is the international restaurant chain Hard Rock Cafe. Which feature extensive use of rock memorabilia in its décor. Note that many restaurants are likely be themed appropriate to their cuisine=*.

How to map

Add the key theme=* to a node or area which is tagged with a main feature tag.

Possible values

• theme=irish - An  Irish pub
• theme=maid

Possible mistakes

•  LGBTQ venues (a.k.a. a “ Gay bar”), use the lgbtq=* tag (e.g. amenity=bar+lgbtq=primary)
