- Bangladesh Birthday celebration after a workshop and mapathon at BSMRSTU (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University). Tweet with video: cutting the cake.

- Hungary Hungary/20220806 Birthday celebration with a nature hike, town surveying, ice cream, cakes, lunch and drinks at Csömör.
- OSM Africa Birthday celebration at the OSM Africa August mapathon to #MapRwanda. You can register here to join the event
- Bangladesh Birthday celebration after a workshop and mapathon at SUST (Shahjalal University of Science and Technology). Tweet with video: cutting the cake.

- Nepal Birthday celebration at Patan Durbar Square by Kathmandu Living Labs. We will collect POIs around the area. We will later celebrate with a cake.
11 August
- Finland Simple birthday celebration at Free Thursday (Helsinki area). Some sweets will be provided. Earlier in the day you can also join the Wikimania watch party.
- Iran Celebrating 18th birthday of OSM by introducing the OSM for people, improving OSM article on Wikipedia, mapping roads and rivers for some cities and villages.
- Switzerland Local celebration during OSM Stammtisch at Bitwäscherei (3. Floor), Neue Hard 12, 8005 Zürich

- Philippines Simple get-together with other local map-py people at the ASEAN Garden in Intramuros, Manila. Tell us if you're attending!
- United States OSM's 18th Birthday was celebrated with a picnic at Green Lake Park by OSM Seattle.
20 August
- Philippines The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines - Association of Geodetic Engineering Students YouthMappers Chapter will be celebrating OSM's 18th birthday with a mapathon, a pizza party and some fun-filled games!
7 September
- The Local OpenStreetMap Utah Group will combine celebration of their own 11th birthday with OSM's 18th!
