• Fri Sept 8th  : Andy Robinson (Blackadder) OSM presentation as part of the Critical Cartography session at the British Cartographic Society 43rd Anual Symposium, University of Manchester.
• Sat Sept 9th  : Brighton Mapping day after dConstruct
• Wed 6th Sept  : SoC summer school. Steve Isaac (FIXME, wiki home page for Steve?) spoke on OSM, and Nick Whitelegg on Freemap at a session of Society of Cartographers Summer School. Also holding an OSM workshop.
• August 30  : Rethinking Maps. User:Steve to speak at a session of RGS-IBG Annual International Conference
• August 26–27 : Reading Mapping Weekend
• August 22 The Southern England user group met for an informal pub meet at the Crown in Southampton.
• August 19–20 Bath Mapping Party.
• August 16 Midlands User Group Meet. The Griffin Inn & The Plough Inn, Shustoke, Nr Coleshill.
• August 12 OpenStreetMap 2nd Anniversary Birthday party, meet in a London pub: The Porter House, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden, from 1:30pm till late - blog entry about it.

• August 4–6 - Wikimania, the international Wikimedia conference, held at Harvard Law School, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Deadline for submissions is April 15, 2006, see the call for papers.

• July 22–23 - LUGRadio Live - User:Steve spoke about OSM in Wolverhampton, UK.
• July 21 - User:Steve talked about OSM at PLAN (part of futuresonic) in manchester. Tom on a panel.
• July 4–8 - Rencontres Mondiales du Logiciel Libre (Libre Software Meeting) in Vandoeuvre-les-Nancy/France (User:Sxpert and User:FrankM). see here OSM at RMLL
