amenity=canteen can be applied to generally formal eating places with sit-down facilities selling full meals with self-service. A Canteen is "a type of food service location in which there is little or no waiting staff table service", see Cafeteria.
The combination amenity=fast_food + fast_food=cafeteria has currently more usage.
