Background
The VM3254 is a digital video and audio recording device for any room in the house. The monitor is manufactured in China and sold to the market from Vtech. The device comes in two parts, the parent monitor and the child camera recorder, which can be used as a baby monitor or any other visual needs.
This device uses FHSS communication technology, the parent device contains a 2.8 inch LCD monitor which allows users to watch, listen, and observe the temperature from the camera on the child device. The device requires a battery for its power source; when fully charged, it has a 9-hour battery life.
This 1.3-pound video monitor is a family favorite due to its features and lightweight durability. The night vision allows the user to check on the recorded room without disturbing anyone in the room, and the built in temperature sensor lets the user observe and check in to make sure the room isn't too hot or cold.
Identification
The VTech VM3254 has two units, a camera and a monitor. Your specific model can be identified by looking at the back of the monitor or on the bottom of the camera; there you will find a small area with various model numbers and logos. There you will find “Model: VM3254” printed above a barcode.
