Berlin Hack Weekend July 2013

We are starting our first hack weekend in Berlin on 20/21 July 2013.

Bring your own ideas or your to-do-list and work or discuss with other people.

Wir möchten gerne in Berlin ein Hack Weeckend veranstalten. Interessierten OpenStreetMaplern, Programmierern und fortgeschrittene Anwendern können im Team ihre eigenen Ideen umsetzen. In Gemeinschaft diskutiert es sich einfacher, Fragen werden direkt beantwortet und es ist auch schnell Code getippt. Voraussetzungen gibt es keine um zum Treffen zu kommen.

Location/Der Ort

We meet at the Büro 2.0 office in Berlin.
The S/U-Bahn station S/U-Neukölln is the closest to the office.

Das Hack-Weekend findet in den Büroräumen vom Büro 2.0 statt. Die Haltestelle S/U-Neukölln ist die nächstgelegenste Haltestelle

We will organize snacks and beverages. Berlin also has many delivery services, where we could order something.

Wir werden Getränke und Snacks zur Verfügung stellen. Berlin hat außerdem jede menge Lieferdienste, bei denen wir auch was passendes finden werden.

Accommodation/Übernachtung

You have to organize your accomodation yourself. You can use the search engine at berlin.de to find a suitable accomodation. I would look in Kreuzberg or Neukölln (close to the office)

Ihr müsst Euch selbst um die Übernachtung kümmern. Die Hotelsuche auf berlin.de findet unzählige Angebote. Empfehlenswert ist Kreuzberg oder Neukölln (kurzer Weg zum Büro).

Public Transport/ÖPNV

It is easy to use public transport in Berlin. There are three zones A,B,C, the office is in zone A. If you are comming with train to Berlin, you can use your train ticket within zone A. Otherwise you will need an AB ticket. It depends on how often you will use the puclic transport, available are single tickets, day tickets or a pack of 4 single tickets (4-Fahrten-Karte). With a ticket you can use tram, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and bus.

Nahverkehr in Berlin ist einfach. Es gibt drei Zonen A,B,C, das Büro liegt in Zone A. Für Bahnreisende gilt die Fahrkarte auch für die Zone A. Sonst muss man ein AB-Ticket kaufen. Es gibt Einfahrtenkarten, Tageskarten und 4-Fahrten-Karten. Genutzt werden können damit Straßenbahn, S-Bahn, U-Bahn und Bus.
