Karlsruhe Hack Weekend October 2019
What's the plan? / Was ist geplant?
We're having an OSM hack weekend in Karlsruhe, Germany, on 19/20 October 2019.
Surely you have some unfinished OSM projects or some good ideas for new ones. Bring them with you to Karlsruhe. You will find people to discuss the details with you, or build something.
Location / Der Ort
We meet at the Geofabrik office in Karlsruhe.
The tram station Europaplatz is the closest to the office.
Das Hack-Weekend findet in den Büroräumen der Geofabrik statt.
Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Europaplatz ist vom Hauptbahnhof aus gut erreichbar und liegt relativ nahe am Geofabrik-Büro.

The Geofabrik office is on the 4th floor, the lift was repaired in spring.
Die Geofabrik-Büro ist am 4. Stock, der Aufzug ist im Frühjahr repariert worden
Food and drink / Essen und Trinken
Geofabrik provides snacks and beverages, and pizza for lunch. Dinner in a nearby restaurant or pub.
Die Geofabrik versorgt Euch mit Getränken und Knabberzeug. Mittagessen gibts vom Pizzadienst, abends gehen wir meist in ein Restaurant in der Nähe.
Accommodation / Übernachtung
You have to organize your accommodation yourself. Members of the Karlsruhe OSM community might be willing to offer free accommodation if you're interested. Get in touch with woodpeck or Nakaner for details. A list of suitable hotels (all in walking distance):

Friday 18th October 2019
- Pre-hack pub meet from 19:00. Everyone pays for themselves.
- Am Vorabend gemütliches Rumhängen in der Kneipe ab 19:00 Uhr. Jeder bezahlt selbst.
- Löwenbräukeller, Sophienstraße 95 (map) table booked for "Reichert"

Saturday 19th October 2019
- 9:30 Geofabrik office will be open
- 9:30 Uhr Start im Büro der Geofabrik
- 19:00 dinner at Kaisergarten, Kaiserallee 23. Table is booked for "Reichert". Everyone pays for themselves.
- 19:00 Abendessen im Kaisergarten, Kaiserallee 23. Es ist auf "Reichert" reserviert. Jeder bezahlt selbst.
